Description A blue glazed composition ushabti.
Condition Chipped to face and body, nose missing but features recognisable. Repaired from two pieces.

N.B. It was common in the Victorian period and early 20th century for ushabtis to be broken in half. This was the accepted method of establishing their authenticity.
Date Late Period. 712-332 BC
Dimensions Height: 4 1/8inches (10.4cm)
PROVENANCE ex: Mrs Peggy Ashcroft collection. A gift circa 1910/20 from her Godfather, an archaeologist.
