Egypto-Phoenician Bronze Bust |
£385 |
| Description | This is a bust of a royal lady or goddess, the figure would indicate that it was once adorned with an uraeus. Her right hand cups one breast and her long tri-partite wig with notched circular headdress creates an attractive effect. |
| Condition | This is a part of a larger item displayed on a clear acrylic stand. The body has been broken off below the breasts and the left arm, once bent at the elbow and held forwards, is broken just below the joint. The headpiece, possible ureaus, has been broken off from the head. The item is well defined (please see photos). |
